Meet the Slyes

How it started

After launching a very successful YouTube channel, Andy realized he could expand his love for cameras and all things audio like the true tech visionary he is, and launched Slye Films in 2015.

With 15 years behind a camera, Andy brings beautiful cinematography, stunning movement and the best dry wit to make anyone giggle through wedding day nerves.

Because all relationships are about balance, Andy’s (self-appointed) role is to make sure the batteries are charged and methodically organized, that his morning coffee is stirred no more than 30 seconds via AeroPress, and that there are at least five Austin Powers/The Office references tucked away for the perfect moment.

Yes, he’s our very lovable Type A.

How it’s going

After a year of dating, I joined Andy as roadie, second shooter, and consumer of cake in 2016. In fact, it was during a gorgeous wedding in the NY Finger Lakes that I realized I wanted to marry Andy. We did just that in 2018, surrounded by close family in Red River Gorge.

In 2020, I said goodbye to my nonprofit career and took over Slye Films. As the Creative Director, Editor and Co-Shooter, I bring warmth, fun and a LOT of hype to your wedding day. I used to fundraise for a living, so getting you to relax or coaxing grandma to the dance floor is a cake walk.

+Our couples tell us that our dynamic just sets them at ease. We’re a real couple and bring the realness of our marriage to our work. We are warm, fun, adaptable. We know when to take the lead and when to settle in as true observers of your love.

Slye Films is committed to treating our couples with respect and dignity.
We value fairness & inclusion and will work with LGBTQ+ couples and folks of any race, body size, ability, or creed.
